Questions

What’s the difference between Protexin and a feed balancer?

Protexin is a concentrated probiotic; it has no feed or energy value and can be included with any diet. A feed balancer is a general feed supplement containing vitamins, minerals and usually a protein source and is designed to add feed value to a diet in a concentrated format. There is usually yeast added, as you will find in most commercial equine diets which are normally beneficial but included at low concentrations.
